WISER Ventures focused on small and mid-sized Tech companies, which have been well established in Europe with proven commercial cases and potential in China/Asia. We provide a unique VC as a Service (VCaaS) model, where WISER will partner with the Company and local venture investors, jointly creating a local NewCo (JV), to support its expansion in China/Asia.
We accelerate growth by supporting the Company under the VCaaS model, with everything from local set-up, fundraising, operational management, as well as areas such as business development and sourcing. We will support the JV development in the coming 3~5 years to scale the business and exit.
OUR VALUE PROPOSITION
For the Company
We bring our local expertise and resources to the Company, with addressable business opportunities in China/Asia which is out of their reach. Further we introduce local partners and investors who have business synergies in between, to jointly develop the joint venture with a clear value creation road map.
For VC/PEs
For VC/PEs which have a number of portfolio companies, we perform as their portfolio partner, to help drive their portfolio companies' market expansion and new business creation, which will naturally increase the valuation of the portfolios, meanwhile they will benefit from new ways of exit (e.g acquired by investors from China/Asia).
For local investors
We bring local investors with the opportunity to invest into the JV and map the success of the portfolio companies which have proven commercial traction in their geographic markets. With combined efforts, local industrial investors can also benefit from business synergies with the portfolio companies in technology, supply chain, sales channels, etc, meanwhile to have an attractive return of investment.
