Client Background

A France-based industrial SME listed on Euronext, headquartered in Paris with installations worldwide. The company designs and produces turbomachinery and Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) modules for CO₂-free electricity production from waste heat, as well as high-efficiency heat pumps for industrial applications.

The Challenge

China's "dual carbon" policy and aggressive industrial decarbonization targets have created massive demand for industrial energy efficiency and waste heat recovery solutions. The company's ORC technology directly addresses this need, but the Chinese industrial market is relationship-driven, requiring trusted local partners, reference projects, and understanding of China's energy policy and subsidy landscape.

Our Role

We act as a market-entry partner for the Company in China. Our team members perform as their local business developer to identify, approach and coordinate with key prospects & clients in China.

Our Approach

WISER was appointed to advise on China expansion strategy. The engagement covered market opportunity sizing for industrial waste heat recovery in China, identification of pilot project opportunities with Chinese industrial groups and industrial parks, and partnership strategy for local manufacturing and service delivery.
