Quick guide for what we do

How can a European company enter the China market without setting up a subsidiary?

WISER's Virtual Operations model allows European companies to enter China without establishing their own legal entity or team. We deploy a dedicated team operating under your brand, backed by our shared office, legal, HR, and government relations resources. You get a China CXO-level partner at a fraction of the cost of building your own subsidiary. This approach has been validated across 100+ projects with $20B+ in cumulative deal value.

2

What does a China market entry partner do?

A China market entry partner like WISER acts as your local operating team — not just a consultant who delivers a report and leaves. We design your market entry strategy, build and manage flagship projects, handle business development, navigate regulatory requirements, and connect you with local strategic investors. We take the CXO seat for your China operations and are accountable for commercial results.

3

What industries does WISER specialize in?

We focus on MedTech (medical devices, diagnostics, healthcare), Clean Energy & EV (fuel cells, batteries, charging), Industrial Tech (robotics, material, equipment), IoT & AI Hardware (sensors, smart devices, AI), and Deep Tech. We have proven case studies with European companies listed on Nasdaq Nordic, Euronext, AIM London, and Swiss exchanges across all these sectors.

4

How long does it take to enter the China market with WISER?

Companies typically achieve their first commercial milestone — first customer, first order, or JV establishment — within 6-12 months, depending on industry and product complexity. This is significantly faster than the 18-24 months typically required to build a wholly-owned subsidiary from scratch.

5

How does WISER charge for its services?

For market expansion, we use a hybrid model: base service fee + milestone success fee and/or equity/options alignment. For growth financing and M&A, we charge success fees based on transaction value. Our fee structure is designed to ensure our interests are fully aligned with your long-term success in China.

6

How does WISER protect our technology and IP?

IP protection is every client's top concern — and ours. Our JV structures and operational models have been validated across 100+ projects with mature IP protection mechanisms. We work with top-tier Chinese law firms and have extensive experience protecting client IP and technology in China. We can share specific approaches used by clients in your industry.

7

How is WISER different from traditional consulting firms or McKinsey/BCG?

Traditional consultants deliver a report and leave. We stay and execute — we become your China team. We are your local operating partner, not just an advisor. We take accountability for P&L and commercial milestones. And beyond market entry, we also bring strategic investors and M&A capabilities to help you capture the full value of your China presence.

8

What types of European companies does WISER work with?

We work with VC/PE-backed or publicly listed small and mid-sized technology companies from the Nordics (Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway), Switzerland, UK, Germany, France, and other European markets. Our ideal clients have proven commercial traction in Europe and a product or technology with clear application potential in China/Asia.

9

Does WISER work with Chinese companies too?

Yes. Through WISER FALCO — our joint venture with Falco Global Partners — we help Chinese companies expand globally, raise capital from European investors, and execute cross-border M&A. We also connect Chinese strategic investors with European technology assets for investment and acquisition.

10

How do I get started with WISER?

The first step is a conversation. Contact us through our website or LinkedIn, and we'll arrange an initial call to understand your China/Asia strategy, share relevant case studies from your industry, and explore whether there's a fit. There's no cost or commitment for this exploratory discussion.
